EVENT POP-UP AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER INTERN

Educate, sample and sell Superior Switchel at local events and retailers in the Twin Cities Metro Area. This internship requires 6-15 hrs. (2-5 retailer demos) every weekend (Fri, Sat and/or Sun) and additional pop-ups depending on the weekly event calendar. It also requires 25-34 hrs. every week dedicated to managing our social media platforms.

Event primary duties include:
·       Driving to events and retailer demos throughout the Twin Cities Metro
·       Event/demo set-up and tear-down
·       Marketing the product and mastering an elevator pitch
·       Handling cash/credit card purchases at events

Social Media primary duties include:
·       Daily Instagram posts and stories
·       Weekly Facebook and Twitter posts/reposts
·       Monthly Blog posts
·       Monthly Mailchimp newsletters
·       Photography – content creation for social media

Qualifications
·       Sophomore or Junior with strong academic record
·       Passionate about the local food system, sustainability and health
·       Experience in customer service, social media and marketing/sales
·       Ability to interact positively with all kinds of people
·       Capable of standing for 3+ hours at a time and able to lift 40 lbs.
·       Quick learning, self-sufficient, and trustworthy – able to work independently
·       Reliable transportation, computer and smart phone
